Gauhati University has officially released the semester examination routine for its prestigious 5-Year Integrated Law Courses, including B.A.LL.B., B.A.LL.B. (Hons.), B.B.A.LL.B. (Hons.), and B.Com.LL.B. (Hons.). The examination schedule covers the 2nd (Revised), 4th, 6th, 8th (Revised), and 10th Semesters for the academic year 2025.

Students appearing for the exams can now download the official PDF time table, which contains comprehensive details about subject-wise exam dates, paper codes, and timings. According to the notification issued by the Controller of Examinations, all exams will be held during the months of May and June 2025, in two shifts: Morning (9:00 AM – 12:00 Noon) and Afternoon (1:00 PM – 4:00 PM), depending on the semester.

The routine includes essential law subjects such as:

  • Constitutional Law, Special Contract, Administrative Law, Company Law, Family Law, Strategic Management, and several Honours Papers like Comparative Constitutional Law, Women & Criminal Law, Competition Law, and more.

Additionally, subjects vary across different streams – BA, BBA, and B.Com integrated law courses. Students are advised to carefully note the subject codes and dates to avoid confusion. Gauhati University has clearly mentioned that any discrepancies found in the routine must be reported immediately to the University administration by the respective college principals.

The practical exams for Moot Court, Internship, and Viva will be notified separately and are not part of this schedule. Students are strongly encouraged to regularly visit the Gauhati University portal for updates.
