Assam Navodaya Admission 2026 – Class VI Online Application
The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has released the official notification for Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) 2026 for Class VI admission. Students studying in Class V during 2025-26 in government or recognized schools can apply online.
This exam provides an opportunity for talented rural students to study in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs), which offer free education with modern facilities under the Government of India.

Eligibility Criteria
- District Eligibility: Candidate must apply for the district where the JNV is located.
- Age Limit: Born between 1st May 2014 and 31st July 2016 (inclusive).
- Educational Qualification: Must be studying in Class V for the full academic year 2025–26.
- School Type: Should be in a Government or Government-recognized school.
- Reattempt: Students who have appeared once before are not eligible.
JNVST 2026 Exam Pattern
The exam will be of 2 hours duration with 80 questions for a total of 100 marks.
