Eligibility Criteria for NHM Assam CHO Recruitment

Educational Qualifications:

  • Candidates must have successfully completed a B.Sc. (Nursing) or Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) program.
  • Additionally, the candidate should possess an Integrated Certificate Course in Community Health or a B.Sc. (Community Health) degree.
  • The nursing qualification must be recognized by the Indian Nursing Council or the Assam Nurses Midwives’ & Health Visitors’ Council.
  • Applicants must be a Registered Nurse Registered Midwife (RNRM) with the Assam Nurses Midwives’ & Health Visitors’ Council or the Directorate of Medical Education (DME) Assam.
  • A certificate from the Principal of their nursing college confirming the completion of the Integrated Certificate Course in Community Health (as per the provided format) is mandatory.

Age Limit:

  • The age of the applicant should not exceed 40 years as of January 1, 2025.

Age Relaxation:
