Eligibility Criteria for NHM Assam CHO Recruitment
Candidates aspiring to join NHM Assam as Community Health Officers must meet the following educational and age criteria:
Educational Qualifications:
- Candidates must have successfully completed a B.Sc. (Nursing) or Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) program.
- Additionally, the candidate should possess an Integrated Certificate Course in Community Health or a B.Sc. (Community Health) degree.
- The nursing qualification must be recognized by the Indian Nursing Council or the Assam Nurses Midwives’ & Health Visitors’ Council.
- Applicants must be a Registered Nurse Registered Midwife (RNRM) with the Assam Nurses Midwives’ & Health Visitors’ Council or the Directorate of Medical Education (DME) Assam.
- A certificate from the Principal of their nursing college confirming the completion of the Integrated Certificate Course in Community Health (as per the provided format) is mandatory.
Age Limit:
- The age of the applicant should not exceed 40 years as of January 1, 2025.
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST candidates: 5 years
- OBC/MOBC candidates: 3 years

Remuneration and Application Fee
Selected candidates will receive a competitive salary package:
- Remuneration: Rs. 27,500/- per month.
