- OR Passed a 2-year Vocational Course with a non-vocational subject like Physics and Maths from a recognized State Education Board, securing at least 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English (or in Intermediate/Matriculation if English is not a subject in the vocational course).
For Other Than Science Subjects:
- Passed Intermediate/ 10+2/ Equivalent in any subject from a recognized Board, with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
- OR Passed a 2-year vocational course from a recognized Education Board, with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English (or in Intermediate/Matriculation if English is not a subject in the vocational course).
Mandatory Medical Standards for Agniveer Vayu
Candidates must meet the stringent medical standards set by the Indian Air Force:
- Height: Minimum 152 cm for both male and female candidates. Concessions are available for candidates from North East/hilly regions (147 cm) and Lakshadweep (150 cm).
- Chest (Male Candidates): Well-proportioned and developed chest. Minimum circumference of 77 cm with an expansion of at least 5 cm.
