Salary and Remuneration

Eligibility Criteria for DEE Assam Special Educator Recruitment
Candidates must meet the following age and educational qualifications to be eligible for these posts:
Age Limit:
The age of the applicant should be as follows as of August 1, 2025:
- Unreserved Category: Not less than 18 years and not more than 40 years.
- Ex-Servicemen: Not more than 42 years.
- OBC/MOBC: Not more than 43 years.
- SC/ST(P)/ST(H): Not more than 45 years.
- Persons with Disability (PwD): Not more than 50 years.

- Must possess a valid Assam Teacher Eligibility Test (ATET) or Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) certificate for LP Schools.
- For Special Educator (UP School):
- Graduate degree with at least 50% marks.
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) in Special Education recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
- Must possess a valid Assam Teacher Eligibility Test (ATET) or Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) certificate for UP Schools.
Medium of Instruction: For ATET/CTET qualified candidates, either Language-I or Language-II of their certificate must match the medium of instruction of the school where they intend to apply.
